Welcome to Our Ladies Bible Study!
When is it a good time to focus on physical activity, which puts the focus more on our physical bodies? Most people are more motivated to want to change their health when the weather is nice, yet we often feel overwhelmed and can usually find reasons (excuses) to procrastinate. So, "a good time" to start never really happens. We are often overwhelmed not only with HOW to make changes but also with WHEN to have the time to do so. This study aims to help alleviate those challenges. Hopefully, this format will allow more ladies to study the same topic but at times convenient to each individual. Everyone is also encouraged to discuss the study with other ladies.
With the focus on making SMALL CHANGES over time to make a big difference, topics being covered in this study include rebuilding, hydrating, walking, breathing, stretching, balancing, and simplifying. Each lesson will include a Bible study, health information and suggestions for small changes to incorporate into your life.
In other studies, we often have focused on a single book to read and discuss. For this study, we are pulling from a variety of resources. These resources are provided on the "Reading Recommendations" and "Additional Resources" pages. For those of you wanting more details regarding the topics on which we are focusing as well as on additional topics, be sure to check out these pages.
If you would like to read something to help supplement this study, the two books that are considered our "flag ship" books are "Health Care You Can Live With" and "Get Healthy for Heaven's Sake." Both of these books are listed on the "Reading Recommendations" page.
